Brian F. Henry is a freelance photojournalist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a founding member of the Evermark Collective, a group of documentary photographers specializing in moment driven wedding photography.
During a 12 year career in journalism, Henry’s work has been recognized by organizations including Pictures of the Year International, National Press Photographers Association, The Northern Short Course, The Pennsylvania News Media Association, The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania, The Associated Press Media Editors, along with two EMMY nominations from the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. In 2015, he was named Multi-Media Journalist of the Year by the editors and staff of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Henry’s work has been published worldwide by publications including The LA Times, The New York Times, USA Today, and Boston Globe.
Henry graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2003 with a BFA in Photography and later attended SALT Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine, where he focused on honing his skills as a professional storyteller.
Henry currently lives in Greensburg, Pennsylvania with his wife Megan and two Children.
